Día de Muertos, the daytime way. November 1 is Día de los Angelitos — the day Mexico welcomes home its youngest souls, the children who have passed. As you arrive, stop first at the ofrenda at the reception crossover, where you can pay your respects to the little ones and the loved ones you're remembering.
From there, walk the garden paths at your own pace down to Botánica, where our Sunday barbacoa brunch takes on the holiday — a Día de Mezcal cocktail in hand, barbacoa slow-cooked the traditional way, live Mexican music, and the color of the day all around. Come dressed for it: our team is painted and dressed alongside our guests, with a best-dressed competition where the staff compete and you're the judges. A festive Sunday to honor Día de Muertos.
